haha love this. I remember seeing Hoiberg play at Iowa State on ESPN and
CBS. He was Mr. Basketball in the state of Iowa. He was one of the best
players in Iowa State History. He had a 10 year NBA career. Last year he
signed a 10 year contract extension to keep coaching Iowa State. He’s
married with four children. The Mayor may indeed be the most popular
person in the state of Iowa.

Hey Bob Burke I’m a truly devastated Jayhawk fan here, but I at least have
the DIGNITY and CLASS to wish the Mayor and the Cyclones luck in the coming
weeks as they hopefully win this thing. Go Clones and Rock Chalk from a
fully supportive Kansas fan who wishes her Jayhawks could be there, but if
they can’t who better to represent the Big 12 but Iowa State.

Fred was great for the Cyclones when he was an undergrad. He’s great for
the university in his return. He learned from a class act whose name was
Johnny Orr. Go Cyclones! Go ISU!
